Design With Impact is a cocktail reception and silent auction hosted by Revitaliste & Schumacher to raise awareness of how our design choices can positively impact our homes AND our community.

Furniture poverty is the inability to afford or access the essential items that provide a household with a decent quality of life and the ability to participate in the norms of society.

Nine talented designers have artfully revitalized 9 tired chairs, which will be auctioned at the event, with proceeds being donated to Make It Home, a non-profit dedicated to alleviating furniture poverty in the Bay Area.

Make It Home furnishes homes for people transitioning out of crisis including children aging out of the foster care system, domestic violence victims, homeless transitioning to housing, veterans and low-income earning families.
