French Mid-Century Settee Refresh

April Gargulio, founder of cult skincare serum, Vintner’s Daughter, is passionate about vintage furniture. She found this unique vintage French settee on Chairish and turned to Revitaliste to help her give it new life. Learn more about this and other projects with April here.

We reupholstered this vintage settee with a white bouclé fabric made of 100% natural fiber from Rogers & Goffigon. To honor its history and keep the beautiful vintage patina, we did light restoration to the wood frame. The beautiful spines of the settee were in need of repair after decades of use so we stabilized and reinforced each piece to ensure decades more use!
