Hollywood Regency Accent Chair Makeover

 

To put the elegance back into a tired pair of Hollywood Regency accent chairs, they underwent a complete top to bottom transformation.

We fully stripped and lacquered these vintage chairs with in a custom kelly green color. The caning was replaced with a fully upholstered back and the seat cushions were replaced with new foam. We upholstered the chairs in a Madeline Weinrib hand block printed upholstery fabric called "Thistle". And to showcase the lines of the chair, the client chose a jet black welt from Samuel & Sons to finish the chairs.
