Can I drop off / pick up my furniture? +

If your furniture is small and lightweight — meaning it can be carried by one person, has no dimension greater than 25 inches, and weighs less than 15 pounds — it may qualify for self delivery.

Self drop-off and pick-up are available by appointment only at a designated time and location. Please speak with your Project Specialist to confirm whether your furniture is eligible and to coordinate timing.

We reserve the right to decline items that do not meet the self-delivery criteria

Is disassembly / reassembly of my furniture included? +

Disassembly and reassembly of furniture are not included in our services.

If your piece requires disassembly in order to be moved (e.g. bed frames, china hutches, large dining tables), it must be fully disassembled prior to pickup.

Need help with disassembly? We recommend booking a handyman through TaskRabbit or Thumbtack.

Important: Please keep all small parts (like bolts, screws, and brackets) at home. Do not send them to us once the furniture has been disassembled.

Can the movers give me a call ahead of their arrival? +

Our delivery appointments are scheduled in tight 2-hour windows. You'll receive a reminder text 1 hour before the start of your appointment.

Please plan to be at your delivery location for the full 2-hour window, as our logistics partner is not able to call ahead or provide a more specific ETA.

I missed my scheduled appointment. What do I do? +

We’re happy to reschedule your delivery for the next available time. Please note that a new delivery fee will apply, as our logistics partner charges for each attempted move.

I’m going to be late for my scheduled appointment. Can the movers wait? +

Our movers can accommodate a maximum wait time of 5 minutes.

If you're not available within 5 minutes of their arrival, the move will be closed, and you'll need to reschedule. Please note that a new delivery fee will apply if you're unavailable during your scheduled appointment.

Is there an extra charge for stairs or elevators? +

Yes. Our standard delivery rates cover ground floor pickup and drop-off only.

If your delivery involves stairs or an elevator, please indicate this on your delivery details intake form so we can quote the appropriate fee in advance. This helps us ensure we send the right team and equipment for a safe and efficient delivery.

My furniture is heavy. Can I request more than 2 movers? +

Yes — some furniture is too heavy or bulky for a standard two-person team. If you believe your piece may require extra support, please indicate this on your delivery details intake form or let your Project Specialist know before your appointment is scheduled.

Additional movers can be arranged for an added cost, and we’ll confirm the final delivery fee with you in advance.

Are your movers insured? Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my building? +

Yes. Our logistics partner is fully insured and able to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request.

If your building requires a COI, just let us know what documentation is needed, and we’ll provide it prior to your scheduled delivery appointment.

Can I group multiple pieces of furniture in one move? +

Yes — we’re happy to accommodate multiple pieces in a single move as long as they:

  • Fit within the selected vehicle, and
  • Are receiving the same type of revitalization service (e.g. all upholstery) There’s no additional charge for grouping pieces together under these conditions.

If the pieces require different types of services (e.g. some upholstery and some refinishing), an additional delivery fee will apply to account for transit between workrooms.

If a single piece requires multiple services (e.g. upholstery and refinishing), the intra-workroom delivery is automatically included in your overall delivery cost — no separate fee required.

What is the difference between the delivery vehichle options? +

🛻 Pickup Truck

  • Open-bed truck (6’ long)
  • Ideal for smaller pieces and economical deliveries
  • During rainy months, items are covered with tarps — but not guaranteed to stay fully dry

🚐 Cargo Van

  • Enclosed space
  • Fits furniture up to 8’ long × 5’ high
  • Great for pieces that need more space or weather protection

🚚 Sprinter Van

  • Enclosed and taller than a cargo van
  • Fits furniture up to 10’ long × 7’ high
  • Ideal for extra-large pieces or multiple items

📦 Box Truck

  • Fully enclosed, commercial-grade
  • Fits furniture up to 12’ long × 7’ high
  • Best for oversized or multiple pieces that require maximum space and protection

I’m buying a piece of furniture online and want to revitalize it right away. Can I ship it directly to you? +

Yes! We regularly work with clients who purchase furniture online and want it revitalized immediately. We partner with a professional receiver who can:

  • Accept delivery from third-party vendors
  • Inspect the furniture upon arrival
  • Dispose of all packaging materials
  • Coordinate transfer to our workroom once the piece is cleared for revitalization

If any damage is found during inspection, it will be documented and promptly shared with you. Your Project Specialist will then help determine the best course of action.

Please note: Furniture that arrives crated will incur additional fees for uncrating and disposal.

Can you pick up my piece before I decide on the final design? +

To keep the revitalization process as efficient as possible, we prefer to keep your furniture in your home until everything is ready to go. That includes finalizing your design details, payment, and approval of samples and materials.

If you need to remove the piece from your space before it’s ready for production, we offer moving and storage for an additional fee:

  • $25/day storage rate
  • Delivery fees will vary based on your location

Your Project Specialist can help coordinate timing and provide a detailed estimate based on your specific needs.

Can you pick up my furniture if I live outside your current service area (out of state)? +

Yes — we regularly work with clients located outside the San Francisco Bay Area.

You’re welcome to use your preferred shipping partner to send your furniture to us. We’ll provide the exact shipping address and instructions upon request.

Here’s how it works:

Your furniture is shipped to our professional receiver partner, who:

  • Accepts delivery
  • Inspects the piece upon arrival
  • Disposes of all packaging materials

Once cleared, we arrange transport from the receiver to our workroom.

If any damage is identified during inspection, it will be documented and promptly shared with you. Your Project Specialist will guide you through the next steps.

Please note: Furniture that arrives crated will incur additional fees for uncrating and material disposal.

I’m not able to accept delivery of my revitalized piece for a few weeks. Can it be held until I’m ready? +

To keep our process efficient and our workrooms clear, furniture must be delivered within 5 business days of project completion.

If you're unable to accept delivery within that window, we’re happy to move your piece into storage on your behalf. You’ll be responsible for:

  • The cost of the additional move, and
  • A $25/day storage fee

Once you're ready, just let us know and we’ll coordinate delivery to your location.

When do you finalize the delivery cost for my project? +

Once you’ve provided your Project Specialist with your pickup and delivery addresses and selected your preferred delivery option, we’ll update your quote with the final delivery cost.

The movers didn’t have paperwork for me. Why not? +

To keep our process streamlined and efficient, all moves are scheduled and documented online by our in-house Project Team. Our logistics partners focus solely on the safe transport of your furniture and do not carry printed paperwork.
