Refinishing an Antique French Sideboard

This beautiful French antique sideboard was masterfully crafted with ornate details but our client didn't want more "brown furniture" in her dining room. So we proposed a way to honor the master craftsmanship while modernizing the piece.

The sideboard was refinished in a ebonized wood finish. We polished the brass drawer pulls and hinges to a high sheen and replaced the missing skeleton keys with new custom-made keys.
